Jan 18 ELAL 027 1:00 am Tel Aviv 5:55 am Jan 18 Newark

Important Flight Details:

  • All trip participants must complete the flight form in order to secure a ticket (click on the sign up button below).
  • Regulations require that all passports remain valid for at least six months after your return flight. Please make sure that your passport is acceptable.
  • If you will be flying into NYC to join the group, allow at least three hours between your flights.
  • Airline baggage limits: 1 piece weighing up to 23 kg/piece (50.6 pounds).
  • If you would like to extend your ticket, you may request it when you sign up for your flight below. The cost to extend is $50 PLUS any difference in fare between the group flight and the flight you are requesting.
  • The airline limits the number of tickets that may be extended. We will offer them on a first come basis. You can also change your ticket after it is issued although the cost will be higher.
  • The extension deadline is Nov. 26. Please submit your extension request ASAP. We always try to fulfill requests at the best price, but remember that you are traveling at one of the busiest times of the year. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get the date and price that you’d like.
  • If you are traveling both ways with the group, you will receive your e-ticket within a few days of your trip from your group leader. If you are extending your trip we will respond within a week. If you do not hear from us please send an email to [email protected]

Dietary Needs:

Please indicate on your flight form if you have any special dietary needs (e.g. if you are a vegetarian) so that we can accommodate you in Israel. (Note, we cannot cater to ALL food allergies and special needs but when notified in advance we will do our best.)

There is a mandatory $25 tip fee for each participant. This is to show our appreciation to the bus drivers. Please bring $25 to Israel to cover this cost.

Remember your trip covers two meals a day, so bring money to buy one meal for yourself.

Remember to pack:

GUYS – a few pairs of long pants, several long-sleeved shirts
GIRLS – a few long skirts and shirts with sleeves

Students should wear suitable modest dress when visiting religious neighborhoods in Jerusalem, including the Old City and holy sites. We also request that students respect the sensitivities of the rabbis teaching them, and dress appropriately for classes — for example: no sleeveless shirts, and no mini shorts or mini-skirts. We want you to feel comfortable and appropriately-dressed during your stay.
